Let’s focus on the security to enter into the GIANT Center
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts reserves the right to inspect and search all items and guests entering GIANT Center. Guests should be prepared to have all hand carried items open and ready for inspection. Hand carried items include, but are not limited to bags and purses that meet the size requirements (must not exceed 5″ x 8″ x 1″), which is smaller than the size of a sheet of paper.
Hershey Entertainment & Resorts has implemented the use of magnetometers for all guests upon entry. We recommend that guests arrive at least 45 minutes prior to event start time and bring only essential items into the venue.
What kind of bag can I bring into the GIANT Center?
GIANT Center prohibits large bags inside its venues in accordance with event guidelines and security best practices. This includes backpacks, large purses, camera bags, drawstring bags, totes and suitcases. Attendees not meeting that requirement will be asked to return the bags to their vehicles/hotels.
Hand clutches, wristlets, clear bags, fanny packs and small purses are permitted but are subject to search and must not exceed 5″ x 8″ x 1″. This size is smaller than the allowed size last year.
Hersheypark Entertainment Complex venues are inclusive and family-friendly, so exceptions for bags are as follows: A medical equipment bag and/or a parenting needs bag smaller than 14” x 14” x 6” and all exceptions must go through metal detection screening at entry and are subject to physical search.
What Forms of Payment Does the Giant Center Accept?
GIANT Center is now CASHLESS and accepts all major credit cards and debit cards. For guests who may not have credit or debit cards, they can convert cash to prepaid debit cards at the Cash-to-Card kiosks located in the Box Office lobby and on the concourse outside of the Hershey Sports store. There is no fee to load cash onto a card at these kiosks. There will be concessions open at the GIANT Center.
