Run for Regional / Pennsylvania Officer Positions

FBLA is YOUR organization. An organization of students, by students. Are you the next generation of FBLA Leader?

Here’s how you can get involved as the next generation leader with Future Business Leaders of America:

FBLA Region 28
Regional Officer

There are three positions for Region 28 officers:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Secretary.

The individuals must be active members in FBLA for the 2024-2025 school year, have paid regional, state, and national dues, and are excellent representatives for the organization with a good work ethic.

Campaign

The candidate must present a two-minute, or less, speech expressing their interest and qualifications for the position of President, Vice-President, or Secretary.

Additionally, the candidate will be allowed to campaign. The candidate may provide ONLY one or more of the following:

  • Poster or tri-fold presentation board relating to the candidacy and qualifications
  • 8 1⁄2 X 11 sheet of paper with information on the candidacy and qualifications. (i.e. flyer, tri-fold, pamphlet)
  • Business card
  • No other items may be distributed to the delegates.

Please be sure your advisors have approved your speech and all related campaign materials.

The 2025-2026 candidates will be inducted during the closing ceremonies at the 2024-2025 Regional Leadership Conference.

Each chapter in Region 28 is eligible to have 3 voting delegates. You must be present to vote.

Pennsylvania FBLA
State Officer

If there is a student from your chapter interested in applying to be a candidate for a 2025-2026 state officer position, that students should register for and attend the following Zoom meeting on Sunday, November 17, at 8:00 pm. Hosted by Kristi Ryland, State Officer Adviser, and the current state officer team, they will provide insight into the application process and their responsibilities as state officers.

Since there is out-of-state travel required with attendance at next summer’s National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California, and in-state travel at various times during the year to required meetings involving adviser release time, it is likely that administrative and/or school board approval will be required to submit the application with the required signatures by the December 15 deadline.
