FBLA recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. FBLA competitive events also prepare students for successful careers in business by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce-simulated competitive environment. The Competitive Events Program exemplifies the range of activities and focus of Future Business Leaders of America. These events are based on projects developed from the goals of FBLA and the curricula of business education programs.
Competitive events at the FBLA State and National Leadership Conference play an integral role in the mission of FBLA. Competitive events programs prepare students for successful careers in business by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce-simulated competitive environment.
FBLA Members make a choice to join Competitive Event programs in order to:
- Demonstrate career competencies, business knowledge, and job skills
- Expand leadership skills
- Display competitive spirit
- Receive recognition for achievements and scholarships for winners
- Travel
- Network
The general event guidelines are applicable to all Pennsylvania state and National competitive events. Please review and follow these guidelines when competing at the national level. When competing at the state level, check the state guidelines since they may differ.
