Cell phones must be turned OFF in all LCTI Academic and Career and Technical education classrooms and lab areas. Cell
phones should also be turned off in all office areas, Guidance, Health Room, and any other
enclosed room or area.
Cell phones MAY NOT be charged in any classroom, office area or cafeteria during school hours.
Students are permitted to transport cell phones to and from LCTI provided that:
- The phone must not be visible while in LCTI classrooms or offices or at a school sponsored activity
- The phone must be turned off while in LCTI classrooms or offices or at a school sponsored activity
- The phone must remain off during a school evacuation unless otherwise directed by LCTI staff
Exception – you may listen to music during your lunch period and while walking in the hallway.
Music must be turned down as to not distract or disturb others.
