You have already acquired amazing knowledge. You tell people often about how you learned this or that. Now SHOW THEM what you know during FBLA Competitive Events programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FBLA members that wish to challenge themselves by demonstrating their skills and talents may sign-up for any of the more than 70 competitive events offered by Future Business Leaders of America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FBLA competitive events are divided into five categories, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chapter Events<\/strong><\/a>
A chapter project that a team of competitors present at the Pennsylvania State Leadership Conference and may be invited to the FBLA National Leadership Conference.<\/p>\n\n\n

Objective Tests<\/strong><\/a>
An online, objective test administred at the conference focusing on business knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentation Events<\/strong><\/a>
The presentation of a project, speech, or interview in front of judges. Competitiors may be allowed to use technology, equipment, and\/or visual aids as part of the presentation. Check the specific guidelines for each event to determine what is allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Production Events<\/strong><\/a>
A production event consists of two parts: a production test and an objective test administered on-site at the conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Role Play Events<\/strong><\/a>
Typically, an objective test administered during the conference. For team events, competitors will test individaully and the competitors scores will be averaged to determine the team score. The top 15 scoring individuals will advance to the final round of competitions, consisting of an extemporaneous response to a prompt. The judges may interact with the competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n

9th and 10th grade students that are just entering high school have a special place in FBLA competitive events. \u201cIntroduction to\u2026\u201d competitive events are an excellent way to begin to develop exposure to the FBLA organization. These events are reserved exclusively for 9th and 10th grade students. The plan with “Introduction to…” events is to level the playing field by providing all students with an opportunity to show what you know with other students just like yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LCTI has a proud legacy of career and technical students that have earned recognition for their hard work at the Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference and the FBLA National Leadership Conference. Be like Madyson, Christian, Semi, Julian, Dusk, Daniel, and so many others that have been recognized for their hard work at LCTI all because of what they already know. Wouldn’t you like to be on your way to Anaheim, California this coming June to show the world that you are the next LCTI Legend? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

See what events your friends are planning on competing with the Competition Registration<\/strong><\/a>. Then sign up<\/strong><\/a> for your FBLA competitive event before its too late. The FBLA competitive event registration deadline is Halloween, October 31, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember, there are only a limited number of competitors of every event. Many competitive events have a maximum number of competitors, likely two or three persons or teams depending upon the specific event. In the event that your chosen FBLA competitive event exceeds that maximum allotment of competitors, a local competitive event will be held to determine the LCTI local finalist(s) that will advance to the Pennsylvania FBLA Regional Leadership Conference. Students that do not qualify for the Regional Leadership Workshop may select an alternate event before October 31, 2024 in which they wish to compete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
